I started to notice strange activity in my games... particularly half-life 2 I noticed a can from vending machine was moving on its own and turned on record to investigate... I made a big mistake and only option is to uninstall this game because entity exists in all copies of the game, you should also uninstall this game because this can happen to you too if you encourage them because the data is not safe...

Hitting a can with a crowbar for an hour, then anomaly

  • 56:27 Video becomes noticeably laggy
  • 1:01:20 Sudden red screen and noise. Gameplay is (unusually) intercut with the map load dialog.
    • #theory We often see source games connect to the void through explicit connect commands and proxies. Is this a direct voidside connection?
  • Player model geometry is distorted and moving dynamically, as in Type 5s
  • World is covered in a blinking red light
  • A Mona with DMNPC > Noise movement approaches and throws Eida's pawn out of the level
  • Pawn seems to stay at a fixed point under the level

  • Severe ragdoll deformation
