Portal Event
The Portal Event is an interrupted Type 5 demo generated with the classic Interlope command (no special tooling). The "event" is the way the interruption changes when the demo is disconnected.
- Type 5 demo (in a dark level) generated "at the time limit"
- Anomi says "we got one", then disconnects wifi. Message shows "CONNECTION LOST"
- "Time remaining" graphic added in post
- Player character becomes a HL2 citizen but continues to move with DMNPC > Natural movement
- POV leaves player character and becomes an A-posed figure of indeterminate build

- A stationary Umbrella Man can be seen in an observation room at 13:45, prior to the first chime sound.

#theory This demo shows the presence of at least two distinct umbrella men. While we don't see both on screen at once, the audio cue comes from the opposite direction as the figure seen.
Further, we see an Umbrella Man intentionally hiding from the player, so another pawn being out of sight is in keeping with that.
